Johan Liedgren

In 1997, Johan Liedgren left his position as Director at Microsoft after 7 years, where he managed contracts, distribution, reporting systems and channel Internet migration. Originally from Sweden, he began his Microsoft career in Channel Development at Microsoft's Swedish subsidiary to continue at Microsoft European Headquarters in Paris, France. Before Microsoft, he spent 6 years as a management consultant with different companies working with competitive strategies, advertising and investor relations. Johan studied philosophy and sociology at the University of Stockholm and served at the Swedish School of Navy Intelligence. Johan is currently CEO of Honkworm International - an online entertainment company - and an advisor/investor in several technology companies. Johan is also on the board of directors of Loudeye Technologies (NASD: LOUD). Johan lives with his wife and two sons in Seattle, WA.

 


Jeffrey Kramer

Jeffrey won a shelf full of Emmys while serving as President of David E. Kelley Productions during a time of rapid expansion and tremendous success for the company. During his tenure, Jeffrey was responsible for helping grow the company into a television powerhouse, and as producer of five television series, including Ally McBeal, The Practice, Chicago Hope, Snoops, and a half hour Ally sitcom. He took the lead in expanding Kelley Productions beyond its basic role as a producer. He developed several ancillary businesses for the company, creating a line of Ally McBeal merchandise for Bloomingdales called "Isms", and a music label that sold over four million copies of the Ally soundtrack. Prior to his time at Kelley, Jeffrey served as Senior Vice President of Creative Affairs for 20th Century Fox. From 1989 to 1994, he oversaw the development and production of such hits as The Simpsons, In Living Color and The X-Files, as well as managing The Practice and Ally McBeal from pilot stage to series development. Before joining Fox, Jeffrey spent a number of years as a producer of independent films and television programs. He began his career in live theater as an Executive Producer for both the Winter Quarter Theater in New York and the Vineyard Haven Players Foundation in Massachusetts. A former actor, Jeffrey appeared in many primetime series and in such feature films as Jaws and Clue.

 

Steven Ringelberg

Steven is responsible for managing the legal  affairs of Honkworm. He has more than 17 years experience as an attorney. Prior to joining Honkworm, Steven was Managing Director and General Counsel of Agile Equities, LLC in New York and Paris.  Agile is a multinational boutique investment bank.  Steven handled both its legal affairs as well as working directly with clients on private placements, M&A, Joint Ventures and spin-offs. While at Agile Steven designed and then sold to IBM the "e-business" logo.  Before Agile Steven was in-house counsel for Microsoft's Europe, Middle East and Africa headquarters in Paris, France. He started practicing law with Webster & Sheffield in New York City and then with Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle in Washington DC. Steven earned his JD at New York University School of Law and his BA from Oberlin College, Oberlin, Ohio.  He is a member of the bars of the State of New York and the District of Columbia. 

 


Troy Benton | Australia

Troy Benton completed his Commerce degree and BA (Political Science) at Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia. After joining the Telstra Corporation, Troy went on to lead projects such as the inception of the Telstra.com Shopping Arcade and a retail ecommerce initiative that was adopted by major retailers across the nation. Troy was recruited by Globalfulfillment.com as Vice President, Strategic Planning and was relocated to California. Troy was responsible for planning and continuity across the rapidly expanding multinational. He was also responsible for moving the business into new product lines, managing major investor relations and spent the majority of his time in Europe and introducing the business into Asia. Troy then moved to work with brands that wanted to move into entertainment. He has completed several television programs and online initiatives and pilots for major brands including the Sydney Superdome, MSN, Vivendi-Universal and Coca-Cola. Troy also worked to launch leading streaming media company Virtue Broadcasting in Australia and has consulted to leading entertainment and media companies in the region.

 


Koichi Orita | Japan

Ko has extensive experience marketing media and consumer products in both Japan and the U.S. While living in Tokyo, he worked on marketing and advertising campaigns for major brands including Chanel, Hewlett-Packard, and Duracell. He planned and executed a major advertising and PR campaign for the 20th Century Fox movie "Home Alone", which then became the second biggest hit in Japanese movie market history. After moving to Seattle in 1994, Ko developed and marketed several online, print, and broadcast media products in the Pacific Northwest, targeting the Japanese community. One of these products was a Japanese news broadcast started in Portland, OR, for which he acted as the key negotiator with Japanese news providers, a broadcasting TV station, and advertisers. Ko holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Doshisha University in Kyoto, Japan, a B.A. in Communications from Seattle Pacific University, and a Certificate of Film and Video Production from the University of Washington Extension.
